If You Say It Is
Back in December, Luke attended a workshop led by Tony-nominee Kristin Hanggi all about creative blocks and getting the idea in your head out onto the paper. After some thought and a lot of toiling, he came up with an idea. He wrote. He revised. He shed blood, sweat, and tears. And finally, the project is taking its first step toward coming to fruition.
On Saturday, May 28th, Luke will host a reading of his project, "If You Say It Is," the story of a young twentysomething who falls in love with a very young girl and has to deal with the fallout. The project examines the nature of human connection, why we love who we love, and whether something (like love) is innately wrong, or if it is only that way if you say it is.
The reading is open to the public. Following the reading, there will be time for feedback, questions, etc.
