Back to NYC and APERTURE

After being away from New York City for seven months, five of which were spent abroad, Luke is finally back in NYC and has already begun work on his next project -- Aperture!

During the "Spanish Renaissance" (aka the two months Luke spent in Spain), whilst viewing "Lion" followed by "Manchester by the Sea", an idea popped into Luke's head. That idea evolved until it become APERTURE.

APERTURE is the story of Gavin, a student about to receive his MFA in Photography when his aunt and uncle die suddenly, leaving him to be the guardian of his younger cousin, Alina. They both are forced to adjust to a new normal -- Gavin, to being a parent of sorts; and Alina, to life without her parents. They both come to learn that it isn't about the situation you're in -- it's all about your perspective.

The project stars Luke as Gavin and Samarah Conley (Adulthood: The Series, Reversed Destiny) as Alina. Luke and Samarah have previously worked together in an early reading of Luke's screenplay IF YOU SAY IT IS.

Also starring in APERTURE are Christine Verleny as Lois, Dana Marisa Schoenfeld as Ms Davis, and Margaret Reed as Teacher.

APERTURE is set to launch a crowdfunding campaign through Seed&Spark, with intent to shoot in early November for a December/January premiere. Stay tuned for more updates!
